I don’t actually build houses, I build homes. I build places where individuals, couples and families enjoy their lives and make unforgettable memories.
I build every home as if it’s my own, which means each one must meet my exacting standards at all times. If something, even the smallest thing isn’t good enough for me then it’s definitely not good enough for you. This means everything from the foundation to the door knobs is strong, sound and visually appealing.

Step 5: Ongoing consultation and progress updates

You’ll receive all the necessary information and costings upfront. I am approachable at all times during the construction process, and pride myself on keeping open lines of communication.
You’ll avoid being part of a building horror story
Shoddy workmanship, rude builders and budget/timing blowouts are unfortunately part of my industry. You’ve probably heard building horror stories or seen them on TV programs.
You are wise to be both apprehensive and vigilant about choosing the right builder. Do your homework and ask as many questions as necessary, because builders with integrity will happily take the time to answer all your questions. (Remember, always ask whether your builder is a Housing Industry Association member and is fully insured.)
My tip is to look at hiring a builder as an investment rather than a cost. Cheaper doesn’t mean better. You may save a few thousand dollars at the beginning, but if the process falls apart, you will end up paying a lot more by the end. As well as that, you may have a home with an impractical design that’s hard to live in, giving it poor street appeal, and sadly, a low resale value.
